Formed in 1996, and closely associated with The Elephant 6 Collective (The Apples In Stereo, Neutral Milk Hotel, of Montreal), Dressy Bessy returns with their first album on Yep Roc Records. The first single, "Lady Liberty,"is a classic example of the band's knack for hooks delivered in a heavy dose of rock. Guests on the album include Peter Buck, Mike Mills, Scott McCaughey, Jason Garner (Polyphonic Spree) and Rebecca Cole (Wild Flag).
