Joe & The Shark Gideon Harum Scarum

Siblings, Gideon and Viva Seifert used to tour as part of Bikini Atoll who were signed to Bella Union and produced by Steve Albini. Now they operate as a pared down unit; Gideon providing guitar, bass and vocals while via (an ex-Olympic gymnast) plays, percussion, keyboards and backing vox. Gideon's ironic, rambling stories are matched perfectly by both thunderous riffing and surprising musical delicacy
